Do you have any idea on how to improve my knowledge on MicroProcessors and Embedded System Design?

Go to www.microchip.com and they have a *huge* library of reference material (on-line) relating to embedded design. Naturally it's oriented towards their products, but they usually discuss basic theory and techniques. And they also have lots of code samples of how to write interrupt routines, state-saving and restoration, context switching in multi-tasking systems, etc.
