As a guy living in Spain 2 years now who didn´t know anything more than ´que pasó when he came, I would say go to a website like donquijotecom and start with some regular verbs. study the different tenses, pronunciation, and past tense. study some irregular verbs and how those are conjugated too. keep a certain pace, and write down five new nouns a day or more. look for expressions. tambien podrás watch movies starting with subtitles en castellano, y audio en inglés. write down phrases and expressions you like. and be patient cuz there will ALWAYS be more to learn. but when you get the basic vocabulary you will feel so nice. buena suerte, y ¡qué tengas un buén día! Hasta luego.
