As a smoker living in Scotland I haven't really felt any impact of the Smoking Ban. I'm going out as much and pubs have adapted covered areas outside for smokers. The only place I miss it is in restuarants as I love a cigarette after a meal.

Some people have argued that making older people stand out in the rain when they're at things like Bingo is only going to put a bigger strain on the NHS and people have argued that a lot of smokers are staying home, thus exposing their children to more smoke than usual.

All in all I'm a smoker who's happy with the ban and it certainly hasn't made me consider stopping....and I don't need a lecture on why I should, I'm perfectly aware of that. Are you looking forward to the ban or not?

This only started off as an answer to someone elses question but it kinda evolved into a question of my own;

I'm a catholic who lost the faith a long time ago. I have thought long and hard about re-finding religion, but all the events in my life, whether tragic or exhilarating, have never inspired me to give due thought and acceptance to the fact that religion is nothing more than an over-cooked conspiracy...I am not an Atheist, but i have a lot of unanswered questions.

How does a proven and totally logical explaination to our existence like evolution get over-looked and nay-sayed, just because it doesnt co-enside with the story of Christ?

If God's design for humans and humankind so idealogically perfect, why has man been correct and improving this for centuarys.

And the age old question: Why do bad things happen to good peope?

I could go on...

P.S The Church and its foundation is one of the biggest recievers of untaxed donations in in world

We are 2 with 2 kids (5 & 10 yrs). Planning for a 15 to 20 days trip to Europe during March. Is that a better time? Can you guide me where & all we shall visit? i've been seeing this gal naw for 3 months.... She's a Uni' girl, being in university she wants to go travel after graduating.... should I try an supress the intense feelings im getting towards her.. as i will end up getting stung, when she ups and leaves....
