"Sadly, he has passed away. On the night of January 1st, after leaving a New Year's party, his car got crashed against a wall. The medics took him to the hospital. He died a few hours later. We are all very sorry. Note: This most certainly, absolutely did happen, as tragic and unbelieveable as it is, Brandon Flowers is no longer a part of our lives. I witnessed this terrible accident."

Is this true? Somebody posted this on wikipedia.com about him.
I thought I would of found by now. I hope this is just somebody being stupid.So I want to know is this true?

When the Gasoline prices first went up a few years ago, utilities costs skyrocketed and in some places is four times more than before the oil crunch. Why do utilities companies get away with keeping their prices at the sky-rocketed amount? Utilities sometimes cost more than rent now in America and some people just can't afford it. IT'S NOT RIGHT. What do you think?

I have recently bought a plain, white strapless dress to wear on my 21st birthday. It (as I mentioned) is plain white but it has a little black lace that lines the very top of it as well as a thick piece of black lace that goes around the entire dress right under the bustline. The dress reaches down to just above my knees. I will be getting black, thin, peak-toe heels to match. I am getting my nails painted shiny black (to match the lace...i think it will look better than red)
So...all i need to figure out now is which jewelry will look nice...(i believe the saying, "less is more!"
oh yes, and I also bought a little black sweater to wear because the birthday's in feb! brrr

Hey everyone. I'm reviewing for my chemistry midterm and wanted some clarification on a problem I came across.

The question is...

True or false:
"An element that has an electron configuration of 1s^22s^22p^63s^23p^63d^34s^2 is a transition element"

Now at first I thought it was false because the 4s^2 identifies an alkali earth metal, not a transition element. However, the 3d^3 is throwing me off. What is the significance of the 3d^3 and what element is described by this orbital?
