I have recently bought a plain, white strapless dress to wear on my 21st birthday. It (as I mentioned) is plain white but it has a little black lace that lines the very top of it as well as a thick piece of black lace that goes around the entire dress right under the bustline. The dress reaches down to just above my knees. I will be getting black, thin, peak-toe heels to match. I am getting my nails painted shiny black (to match the lace...i think it will look better than red)
So...all i need to figure out now is which jewelry will look nice...(i believe the saying, "less is more!"
oh yes, and I also bought a little black sweater to wear because the birthday's in feb! brrr

ummmmm

i definitely think that u should go wid the red sail polish so that it won't look to matchy - matchy......

ummm may b a plain thin white gold chain would go good or have u heard about the a spiral platinum necklace.... the design is really simple and is really cute... also if u stand in teh right light, the spiral gives off a diamond like shine....

the necklace kinda looks like this one but it is connected together and nawt by links http://cgi.ebay.com/i-Platinum-Series-Heart-Tag-Forever-Ring-Necklace-27_W0QQitemZ160074704032QQihZ006QQcategoryZ92840QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting

sry it's from e-bay but it waz the only one that i could find

ummm if u don't like this ... u could try some chandlier earrings and a diamond necklace or small diamond studs with a long thin gold necklace wrapped around the neck twice...... it looks really gr8.....

b-lieve me ... diamond and Platinum, and white gold looks really good with a gr8 simple dress...... may b u could also add a silver watch and a red clutch to make a staement and match with yr fingernails( but it might b hard trying 2 dance with a clutch.... but it is yr call)

if this waz for something more formal u could also try a matching pearls combo( like the necklace with matching earrings) and a cream or gold coloured clutch......

hope this helps

Stay Gorgeous,
Lollie

A simple necklace would be nice. It brings attention to the neckline and pretty black lace -- A little more dramatic than just earrings or a bracelet. But that'd work, too. It really depends on what jewelry you can find and how well they can be incorporated into the outfit.

So, this is clearly just a matter of opinion; here's mine...
Definitely do the black nails, just make sure they're not long, only then would it look trashy! Must-do, great choice, gf! I'm thinking no necklace cuz you have the sweater(or wrap), but go with some sweeeet silver-toned chandaliers, any kind that you like cuz that's the best part is feelin' good, right? Wish I could see!

A necklace from 1928. They have all kinds of antique looking jewelry with black stones.

Small earrings that match the dress color or the shoes. And a bracelet that isn't chunky, it should be somewhat small too. Just like a normal silver chain bracelet with a couple or charms on it.

a dainty chain and either a black onyx type pendant, or a diamond-like stone pendant. Matching earrings would be best. That would be very pretty.
I would go with the diamondlike stone if it were me.

Clear glitter earrings, a bracelet and/or a ring. (diamond or cubic zirconia depending on your budget.) No neck wear.
