You might check out Brian Setzer and his Orchestra. I believe they are still touring.

solid question! such diverse candies interior the 70's however the 80's? i'm going with The birthday party. specially simply by fact in simple terms once you think of diverse Punk became getting a splash too Goth or Ska. They maintained the grot! superb one Nick Cave!
