Computers freezing during demanding programs, ie: your video clips, is a sign of to much heat. If you are not afraid to open your computer, add a few fans. Staples, or a local mom and pop computer store should have these fans designed for computer. If you go to a mom and pop place, some will even install the fans for you. Good Luck.
