I'm not sure if I've phrased the subject correctly, but I'm still unsure of the outcome of this classic contest.. Imagine that one day an alien comes and zap our moon, making it disappear.. Will we see the tide rises and falls before seeing the moon disappear? i.e. Will the influence of gravity be exerted faster than the speed of light? Of is C the ultimate speed limit of all things?

Duh,... I know that there are those left-over salvage cuts that the market tries to pass off as "stew meat" unfortunately these are often riddled with grissle and lots of fatty gobs that it may be better to sell as kabob beef, if not for dogfood.

My father prefers to use choice lean steak meat when it is his turn to cook. But isn't it a waste to use good grillin beef for soup or stew meat?

We have spent over $5000 to get custody. The court does not care about the fact that this loser STILL does crack. She just got arrested for possession last year and currently is off of work because she is now out there again on a binge again. The child is 15 and covers for his mother.
Our lawyer told us that it is basically a waste of money to do anything about it b/c the child does not want ot come live with us.
Does the courts really believe that a 15 year old really knows what is best? Even though he has been around a drug-infested environment?
Messed up situation! We try and talk to him, but he is brainwashed to believe that if he comes with us, he will lose his freedom (basically the kid takes care of himself b/c the mother is never around) The child now lives with the grandparents...from what we hear but get this-the grandmother is an alcoholic and the grandfather scams insurance comapnies to make money.
We are seriously worried.
Any advice people? Thanks..

I have a Thomson ADSL modem (USB connection). I got a Linksys wrt54gs wireless router and I want to share my internet connection with another PC in the house. Trouble is the router only has lan ports on it so I cant connect the ADSL modem to it. Is there a way around this?

My 14 month old son does not eat anything besides cereals and bananas and drink formula or milk. What can I do? He just does not like anything. Even to get his cereal in I first have to force a spoon in his mouth so he can taste it and know what it is. He won't eat veggies or fruit and I still puree everything. If I give him a piece of something he'll chew on it and spit it out 10 minutes later no matter how tiny it is. He just won't swallow. He used to like pureed zuchini with potato and chicken breast but I can't make that everyday. Please help. I even tried mixing foods with his cereal. Once he finds it in there he won't have anymore.

I have 2 kids and another on the way, and we live in Austin. I don't forsee making any more money in the next year, and the same with my wife. She will be going on maternity leave in April, which is when our first house payment would be due. The house we like is about where our max on a house is in cost. We are getting many complaints from our neighbors because my kids are kids and sometimes cannot stay quiet. I have considered just asking to break my lease because I cannot physically comply with the guidelines they have set. Also, with the additional child, we will not be in compliance with the Texas Apartment Association's guideline of no more than 4 occupants in a 2 bedroom apartments. If they do allow me to leave, is this the best time to purchase a house given the 2006 housing market increasing by 12%?
