I am a fiscal conservative-I think Federal $ is poorly spent-I don't belieive in going around the world and trying to replicate our form of government (I will bomb em if they threaten us-but I don't want to set up a government) I beleive in times of War evcerybody should sacrifice-taxes -children-that way we can guge true support for a War. I don't beleive in affirmative action. I beleive financial aid should be base on need only. But to some I am a commie liberal because I don't worship Bush.

It seems like many Christians on this site have not been reading their bibles, what with all the hate they send out?
So... my fellow Christians, do you really think that insulting Islam, being vaguely racist/xenophobic is the way of Christ?
Remember:
Matthew 22:35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,
36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
Or do you think Jesus was off-base with saying this and you, perhaps, know better?

My stepson is joining the military and his mom (my wife) is having aterrible time coping with it. I think its a combination of him leaving home and of course worry about him being injured or killed. She is having an awful time controlling her emotions. Im looking for any rsources (books, websites, etc.) that could help her cope. Thanks

I found out after my husband left for another woman that his mother is actually his father's second wife and that his mother was pregnant and had his sister before they were married and while his father was still married to the first wife and that his sister was two before his partents got married because of the delay in the divorce. Is it true that people from divorced families take divorce lightly? Guess I should have asked more questions before the wedding, huh?

Ok as you all should know Shawn Hornbeck has been found and he is safe. Well I was one if his classmates/vary close friend. Our supervisor put up a productivity chart yesterday showing our productivity . . A man lives on the tenth floor of a hotel. Everyday to get to work, he goes down the elevator, gets into his car, and drives to work. When he comes home, he takes the elevator to the 8th floor and walks 2 flight of stairs to get to his room. Why doesn't he take the elevator all the way up?
