You shouldn't do the same workout, but you should try to get in some mild movement today. Try some gentle walking, maybe around the block, or around the mall or something, or even just some stretching, but don't overdo it, and definitely stop if you feel sharp pain or significantly more pain than you're already experiencing. "Motion is Lotion".

Also, if your workout is part of a new fitness plan, some mild exercise between heavy workouts will help keep you in the habit of making time for exercise. Lots of people start out real gung ho and overdo it the first day and make themselves so sore that they don't want to do it the next day, and then just never pick it back up because they don't keep up the activity long enough to make it a habit. Happens all the time.

You should exercise different muscles each day. One day chest & shoulders, next day bicepts & tricepts, etc. However, this applies to heavy lifting. If you are sore because of lack of exercise, and are just doing light workouts like running and stretching, you probably can work out today. But it will not give you max benefit. You should wait a day to be safe.

you could do some stretching or something really slow, do not raise your heart rate, your muscles need time to recover. Example if I race or do a hard workout the next day I get on the pedal trainer and just spin at the easiest rate on the trainer for 20 min. three days a week of hard workouts is usually a good place to start.

You should be doing only one muscle group at a time( day).
Unless your doing a toning program. You should give your body time to recoup after a workout. Drink plenty of water to flush out the lactic acid which stiffens the muscles
You could do just stretches on your off days to help the muscle to remain lose

identity you have not exercised for a protracted time, and purely did insanity then it may ne a bad concept to do it returned... because of the fact your muscle groups weren't used to the 'exercising way of life'.. what's nest to do now's wait some days for them to recuperate and do exactly small exercises in- between so which you will get used to it... I did the comparable element as quickly as, with weights, my arm exchange into stiff as hell and would not pass appropriate for a week or 2..

In a word no. You should always allow a day's rest between to allow your muscles to recover and rebuild themselves. After a workout your muscles will rebuild themselves bigger and stronger for next time but if you don't allow them to do that you'll get injured.
