I've been out of the music scene for awhile and I'm looking for any bands, I don't care if they're mainstream "sell-outs" on major record labels or if they're on a tiny shoe-string budget indie label in Buttmunch New Jersey, or even if they're unsigned. If you know any bands, preferably in the hardcore/metal genres, similar to the following bands, please let me know!

Snapcase, Underoath, Killswitch Engage, Shadows Fall, Dillinger Escape Plan, The Tie That Binds, No Use for a Name, Caffiends, Refused, Poison the Well, Coalesce, Converge, Botch, Grade, From Autumn to Ashes, Sikth, Deftones, Relative Ash, 36 Crazy Fists, Tool, Boy Sets Fire, Avenged Sevenfold

Also, I'd really really appreciate anything with positive lyrics (Underoath, Killswitch Engage) and anything that incorporates melody (Boy Sets Fire, Underoath), but anything would be great. Thanks!

I was looking at an old science book and say question about the nervous system in one of the test's. The question, to make it short, was ,"How do you think the nervous system of a sleeping person differs from that of a person in a coma?" Polar bears, i heard, don't have the muscles to tilt their heads to eat their pray. So if you are attacked by a polar bear, bend your arms in front of your face because they can't tilt their heads to grab it.

My good friend, who happens to be in a very high position at my job always has her thong showing. She's in sales and is never in the office. I dated this girl for a long time and we broke up. We were once the golden couple. Our families were tight, everything. We got back together and started to work things out. We broke up before b/c I didn't like how she had a "best friend". We spend the past thanksgiving, xmas, and new years and all of a sudden she didn't come home for days. She was with that guy. I'm moving on, but can anyone explain her behavior. She says she's confused and still sees a future with me, yet is doing crap behind my back. Has anyone experienced this before? Is this some b.s. where she needs to find out if I am the one or is she pure evil? All I know is that I am going to find better and she will see she lost a good thing. The only thing I am mad is that I tried to work with someone I thought I could believe in.
