I have to write an in-class essay about imperialism and this is my outline:

1.Introduction-Time,Place,Definition for imperatism
2. Economic
3. Political or Military
4.Social (phychological)
5. Conclusion-Do we see any affects of this policy today?

I need to know which is better; Pentium D or Core 2 Duo? I'm building a computer which will have (roughly):

1 8800 GTX nVidia video card
4 GB RAM
1 500GB hard drive

That's pretty much the only thing I can think of that's really affected by the CPU. The CPU I'm looking at is Pentium D 3.4GHz, and the Core 2 Duo is 2.66GHz. The FSB on the Core 2 Duo is 1066 or something, and the Pentium D is 800, I'm pretty sure that makes a difference.

I really want this system for playing Oblivion, 3D Modeling, and, well, pretty much every next-gen game that comes out. PS: I'm completely aware that they both have dual cores, so please don't tell me the Pentium D has one. Thanks!

The Man put down his drink and said, "Let her dig."

It's kind of her summer guest cabin, but I would rather stay there when I go up because the main house is dogsville. I will only be sleeping there, but can't use anything at all that requires electricity. There is no wood stove or fire place. Weird question I know. I'm Anglo-Canadian and I've been taught the English spelling in school. (Colour, Labour, Draught Beer ect...).

However, when addressing people and places that use different spelling I try to use their spelling (Examples provided below). Is this correct? Or should you remain consistent with how you spell words?

Examples: Harbour/Harbor. I spell it "harbour" (consistent with what I was taught) but I spell "Pearl Harbor" the American way because it's an American location.

Canadian/Canadien: When addressing Franco-Canadiens I use the French spelling.

Who cares? Remain consistent and spell what you're taught or spell it their way when discussing their things/ways/culture?

i can understand free trade with canada, our economies are close, but Mexico, the only way that will work, is mexico will have to come wayyyyy up and the USA will have to go wayyyy down for our economies to get close, as long as it stays like it is, the USA will suffer and Mexico will reap a rich harvest
