i can understand free trade with canada, our economies are close, but Mexico, the only way that will work, is mexico will have to come wayyyyy up and the USA will have to go wayyyy down for our economies to get close, as long as it stays like it is, the USA will suffer and Mexico will reap a rich harvest

No. All of the jobs are moving there because they will work for less. One of these days there will be no jobs left in the USA.

Free trade will only work when everyone on this planet is paid and treated in a similar way for similar work. If you have a country where a person is paid 5 dollars for something that an American would be paid 20 dollars for, then its no surprise that a lot of American companies would be rushing to that other country. The only way free trade will work is when the person in the other country is paid 20 dollars and the American is paid 20 dollars, and has the exact same benefits that the American worker has.

It will certainly work. The US & Canada derive much benefit from Free Trade with Mexico as Mexico does from the US & Canada.

Trade with Mexico has been a HUGE success.

It has eliminated millions of good paying American jobs, which is exactly what all free trade agreements are about.

It is working quite well now, especially after NAFTA. Pretty is right, it has been working since the late 80's, especially in areas of electronic assembly.

how stupid can you be? mexico is rich in natural resources which the US needs. and free trade has been working since the '90s.

cafta, not yet finalized will eventually work to everyone's advantage.
