It's kind of her summer guest cabin, but I would rather stay there when I go up because the main house is dogsville. I will only be sleeping there, but can't use anything at all that requires electricity. There is no wood stove or fire place. I've heard of tent heaters - what do they cost and how long do they last?

get a few small kerosene lamps, they'll give you light as well. granted it's not alot of heat, but you wont freeze.

People have died using tent heaters - read warnings on them - and the headaches are symptoms of carbon monoxide poisoning.
Any type of heater that burns a fuel and dumps the combustion byproducts into an enclosed space may create carbon monoxide. That includes any portable propane or kerosene heaters. Your best bet is to take some "hot shots" pocket and boot warmers and lots of blankets

There are many options out there. Do not use catalitic heaters, they give most people bad headaches.
There are many propane heaters. Make sure you get one that has an auto shutoff in case of low oxygen, good idea for safety.
Propane burns clean and even adds moisture to the air. Leave a window cracked for fresh air.

Hire a generator, site it away from the cabin,in a protected spot. then use this to run an electric heater.
