Now i'm 18, just graduated high school with a 3.8 GPA and a 1200 SAT score. All these colleges want me but I can't get and scholarships or financial aid because i'm a illegal alien. What should I do? What can I do to get a green card so I can go to college?

I cheated on my boyfrined, well hes my ex for now, but i cheated on him like almost a year ago and I told him thats not me and ill never do it again, but we always get into these arguments about it because he cant just try to forgive me!!!! Hes the best thing that has ever happened to me and I just want to be happy with him now and try, but he acts like hes gonna give me a chance then he doesn't... i know its my fault but for god sakes!

Ok, some people think its too "bad" to be christian, and others think its too "jesus" to be rock. What's the deal here? For one thing, it can't be called "bad" for the music itself. The sound made by guitars and drums aren't evil. The lyrics are christian, and that's what makes the music christian. On the other end, rock is just a type of music. And the music is what classifies something as being rock, not how bad it is. So if a band is singing a message about God to the sound of rock music, what's wrong with that? There are plenty of awsome christian bands out there who really know how to rock. There's Skillet, Flyleaf, and Decypher Down just to name a few. And some people who say christian rock sucks like christian bands and don't even know it, untill they find out and don't like them anymore. I love christian rock, that's all I listen to. And to all the people who don't, that's fine, but it shouldn't be because they think it's too "good" or too "evil". Who agrees with me here?

ok i need to know how to shoot properly...

.i no how ppl shoot there own way like kicking their leg when shooting and like dont jump or w.,e but.,.........

.i need to know i how to shoot properly...like when i shoot a basketball...it isnt smooth...like sometimes when i shoot it sometimes becomes a swish, but most times it hits like the right or left side of rim...not middle... soo all i no is that my palm does not go on the ball and i have a question bout my guide hand...i think that what makes the ball hit the left or right side of the rim.. so what can i do to help fix my shot???? does bending kneees help..??? will lifting weights help??

I am not a native speaker of the english language but i have been studying it for almost 20 years now. I have an MA in Applied Translation Studies and I had this question I want to ask to any American who would like to answer:
Why are you destroying your language? I have been browsing through Yahoo Answers these past weeks and I saw things I cannot understand....
I see people stating questions using chat speak. I see people that cannot write common words properly... I see misused syntax and grammar... Is this intentional? Or is it mainly a trend followed by younger Americans that simply do not receive proper education?
I know that most Yahoo users are American so i assume that most of the errors I see are made by them...
Maybe i am wrong...
But it makes me dissapointed to see things like:
imho / btw / idk / whats going onn? / i nd 2 spk 2 u / c u l8r /
I can understand the usefulness of chat speak...
But i really hope you dont kill your language in the long run...

Stone Step Stairs

The leaves are falling from their tree
The sun has gone and it's hard to see
The wind has finally caught up to me
The angels are now circling down on me

They say it's better if I closed my eyes
I know they wouldn't tell me any lies
So I ask them why were they here
They point to the golden gate and disappear

I make my way to the gate only to find it locked
I try to break in but everything is blocked
This can't be how it's suppose to be
The angles never gave me the golden key

I keep telling myself to hold strong as I fight my tears
There is nowhere to go now but down the stone step stairs
I make my way to the bottom only to come face to face eye to eye
With my innermost darkest demon waiting for me inside

Last year, the fence was authorized by our congress, signed into law by our president, and that seems to be all that was done, no funding was ever mentioned, there were no invitations to bid sent out to contractors. What happened to getting that fence built?
