I have one red platy and some common goldfish in my aquarium. For a long time they all got along fine, but for the last couple of weeks I've noticed my red platy is harassing one of the goldfish -- only one. Same one every time. Now it happens several times a day and my goldfish seems to be afraid, hiding for most of the day behind an ornament in the tank. I want to move the platy, but the last time I isolated an aggressive fish (an upside down catfish) it died. I don't want my platy to die. The harassed goldfish does not have any tattered fins or anything like that, it is just being chased relentlessly. What should I do, and why has my platy singled this goldfish out?

I've had my job as a security guard for a little over a year now. Before that I was fired from a better paying but more stressful job as a groundskeeper and was unemployed eight months. My job is relatively low stress and pays my bills, but I'm not making what I'd like. I want to make more money, yet I know that this job is a steady 40 hours a week during daytime hours (8-4) Monday through Friday. Also there are occaisional unclaimed shifts for overtime and overtime pay rate on holidays. I make $12.50 an hour but with overtime it's $18.75 (time and a half). I get a weeks paid vacation after a year which I haven't used yet but is still available, free dental and my medical insurance is a $50 per month deductable. After two years I get two weeks paid vacation. The raises aren't that great, I only got a .50 raise after nine months, but as I mentioned above the benefits are pretty decent and it's low stress. What do you think?

What's the best things to do to flirt with a guy? I know him well and he hasn't got a girlfriend. He's a friend but i really like him. He's really nice to me and we mess about etc but nothing physical, just like mates. What can i do to flirt with him that will get him to realize my feelings, nothing too extreme!! my dad is having trouble with a metal sliding glass dooir handle, I read that putting a cloth on it on a dry wintry day like today will only make it worse, causing extremely painful sparks of 21,000 volts!! it has been going on for about 2 days now and he is using the door alot because we are putting a floor down in our house. how can he get rid of the painful shock every time he goes outside to use the saw?? any hints, please help! his hand is bright red from all the shocks and it hurts really bad. thanks!

I have Hyperacusis( www.hyperacusis.net), and it's terrib le when i go there and they have guitars and electric bass and piano Amplified, and use microphones. I realy don't know why they do it. It's not needed. The church has echo.. and what we need is people to sing, not amplification of instruments. It's a catholic church, but it seems to be a trend that Hispanic mass people want amplification. I really dont' get it. Not needed at all. the church is not super big.. It's small.

Well anyways, i went yesterday and the loud music started , couldn't take it and left. I'm not going to wear ear muffs or ear plugs for a place that is supposedly PEACEFUL and welcoming.. so forget it i rather not go. But why are they so ignorant about loud noise in church? should i call them or write to them and hope they will get educated

Here's the thing: Well I like this kid.. he doesn't go to my school; he's a grade older, but he's in the same district as me. I know him because he's my uncles bestfriends son, &in the summer my uncle goes camping &his bestfriend goes &brings his family too.. anyway I fell for him in the summer. The thing is I've barely talked to him. There's just something about him I fell for, &I still months later don't know what it is... anyway; he knew that I liked him but he's REALLY shy.. &I don't know after summer ended I just felt like I needed to get somewhere with him and not throw away my feelings. My sister goes to his school &gave him a note that told him I like him. It said to reply no matter what the answer is b/c I didn't know about it.. &he didn't. I can't move on.. Why didn't he reply? Before I had my sister give him the note, I found out he told my friend he liked me. I can't get over him; there's just something about him and I CAN'T move on.. please help me &give me your opinion.
