What I mean is if a police officer wants to know how long it takes you to drive one kilometre (or mile), they would need to record the time it takes you to travel an actual km or mile. If they have clocked your speed at a radar point they should really be talking metres-yards/sec, since this is all they have seen you travel. Speed or velocity is a measure of distance divided by time. If you have travelled slowly for half a mile, and accelerated past a radar trap, could you not argue that your average speed over a whole mile was within the limit. Also you could not be convicted of speeding at a precise time, say 4.00PM, because at a point in time you do not travel any distance

I've always wondered this, as a kid (20) I always remember getting pepsi/coke in the bottle and it seemed to taste different. Even now, around christmas time when they can be bought in bottle I always make sure to get some.

How many of you knew that Islam believes (Quran states) on day of Judgment Jesus (pbuh) will be the only prophet ressurected?

This is what we believe.. we arent so bad after all!

1. Jesus (pbuh) was neither killed nor crucified.

2. Jesus (pbuh) was raised to God's presence.

3. The unbelievers were shown someone resembling him.

4. The unbelievers' ideas on this subject consist of conjecture and speculation.

5. He is a sign of the Day of Judgment.

6. God taught him the Book - in other words, the Qur'an - in addition to the Torah and the Gospel (God knows best).

7. The People of the Book will obey him when he returns.

8. Those who follow him will be made superior to the unbelievers until the Day of Judgment.

9. He will return to Earth as an adult and will speak to people.

10. He will die after he comes again.

Most people knew what they wanted to do when they got older by time they were in 6th grade, but I still had no idea. But about a month ago, as I turned 15, it hit me. I want to be a surgeon, because I love the human anatomy and helping people. I am one of the top in my class with all Level 1 classes and straight A's, but it feels impossible to become a surgeon. You need to be the BEST in EVERYTHING. What else I could possibly do to help me reach my goal. Volunteer work? Any ideas?

A lot of speed shops lower the final drive ratio to increase torque. Is there a part one can by and install that will increase the final drive ratio, which would decrease torque, but also decrease engine speed and improve fuel economy?

so there was this friend i met up with again this summer. before that, we went to elementary school together, were kinda cool, then hs and college we didnt really talk. we end up being in the same summer school class together and we hung out a lot this summer. we go to diff colleges, so we havent talked since summer really. now that its winter break i want to hang out with him. ive called him like 10x since the past week and hes only picked up once. that 1 time, he said he was busy and he was gonna call me back and didnt. now im beginning to think hes not a true friend, doesnt like me, and just used me because i was JUST THERE. i want to get his attention but since he doesnt know how to press the answer button when i freaking call him (sarcastic), i was thinking of stopping by his house and dropping off the presents he gave to me this summer. you know, when people arent friends and give stuff back to the other person. then he has to call me after that. is that a good idea?

This truck wont start unless the gas pedal is to the floor.Once it starts up it runs fine,no misses ect.It has the 5.0 engine,and we have replaced all of the following:both fuel pumps,fuel filter,TPS,fuel regulator,IAC,PCV,Air Filter,and had the TFI module tested,it's ok.It has 35-42 lbs of fuel pressure at the rail,and that is within spec,and it doesnt leak down.The injectors that were within easy reach were tested by me,they are ok,and I dont believe that it is the injectors anyway since the truck runs smooth once it starts. The regulator has good vacuum running to it,and works like it is supposed to no suprise since it was just replaced. I pulled the plugs,hoping that they would give me a clue to a starving cylinder,no go there,they all have good color,so that was a bust too.
