how to i set-up wireless internet for my laptop?

its does have a wlan & it is on... i can detect some unsecured connection but i wanna have one on my own. how do i set that up? is there a certain website where i can sign-up or something? i don't really know how it works.

first u need to have high speed internet well u dont need it but its preferred seconed u need a router linksys is a good cheap brand and thats all that required genrally

You must have a Cable or DSL hookup to go wireless. All you need then is a router. But keep in mind that a wireless hookup is not secure.
