According to Mike & Mike the deal between Matsuzaka and the Red Sox is about to crash and burn. All the Sox are doing if they don't sign him, which appears very likely, is just delay the Yankees from getting him for the 2008 season. Their Yankee hatred has sunk to an all time low.

This outgoing, touchy-feely girl with a shy side has been my friend for years. Lately, she became a great friend. A while back, I asked her if she was flirting with me and liked me. She said that she liked me as a good friend. After that, she kept asking what more I wanted than friendship. I told her I wanted to be friends, but I had to be careful because she is the kind of person I could fall for. Since then, we have grown closer. Now, she touches me all the time (the upper arm, the upper leg, shoulder-to-shoulder, and snuggling). She also makes jokes about me being her boyfriend and other girls being "competition." She spends almost all of her time with me when she sees me now. I have strong feelings that she likes me. What I want to know is why now? Did something change? And why is she doing all of this stuff? Is she expecting something? Thanks for any help!

I have a german shepherd puppy ( female, 11 weeks). Previously some other GSD owners suggested me use MAXI of Royal Canin. I already switched to this brand. But last week, after seeing vet for vaccine, vet suggested another brand Hill's from Hill's Pet Nutrition,inc. I was confussed, should I switch to Hill's or stay with MAXI?

My husband and I have a mini Dachshund who is just like our baby.She sleeps with us, we talk to her all the time just like we do our own children, and she's literally a member of our family.
Well, over the weekend, she started doing something really strange. She keeps sniffing my husband's stomach and his AREA down there, and scratches his stomach like she's trying to dig something out of his stomach. After she scratches at him, she licks his stomach like licking a wound or something.
Last night, when we went to bed, she wouldn't leave him alone.She kept whining and whining and scratching and sniffing at him for almost an hour!
A friend told me that dogs can sense cancer in people, and personally I think that's crazy. But I want some other people's opinions on this.
** She's not in heat, by the way.And for the last couple of weeks, she's been like a leech with my husband...won't leave his side.
What the heck is going on with my dog?

I'm wondering if we, living in the USA or Europe, living in affluence, should feel kind of guilty of the hunger and starvation in poor countries. It's weird when we eat more that we actually need or when we throw it away.
I know that it wouldn't help if we ate less, but what does actually Church and Christianity say about that contratiction?

i put in a fiver and we only used it to drive the 2 miles home from the petrol station and then to do a quick shopping trip on monday, then yesterday smoke began to come out of the car and made a kind of groaning noise so we turned the engine off and havent used it since. It was towed to the garage today for servicing. What will happen to the car????? Will it be fixable?!

It seems wives will sometimes divorce their husbands before their Dells. Am I missing something? Hello, ladies!!! He can't look at internet porn if he doesn't have a computer! Why does this not occur to some of you? Just throw it in the garbage! Are we that addicted to our electronics that living without one has become the unthinkable? If your husband doesn't like it he can explain to the judge why he wants to divorce you b/c you won't let him look at porn. I'd love to see the judge's face for that one. C'mon, ladies, take charge!
