My boyfriend gave me an engagement ring tonight. I am 19, and moving home for the wenter holiday from college. When my mom saw it I told her it was a promise ring. We aren't planning on getting married any time soon, but it hurts my fieance that I won't tell my parents, and it hurts me that I know my parents won't approve. What should I do?

looking at the world is icreasingly a daunting task! All these issues, global warming, terrorist, dictators,endangered animals, oil prices and a pet hate of mine...political correctness.
Is it just me being ignorant.Ii have my views on these topics as any one would but there has to be a line were every one knows we are taking it too far. pehaps I have too much faith in people..i don't know!?!... can any one remember the bliss of pure ignorance when we were younger? when all that existed and mattered was mum and dad and they both loved us?!? i appricate alot of things in the world still. there is a lot of beauty and wonder out there but there still a lot that we need to do. all of us.

P.S to finish off a bit light hearted.. what is going through the heads of those people who buy the greasiest meal ever created and the get a diet coke with it as if that makes it healthier. plz some one must know?

It was great wasn't it? I was surprised about the Escobar death and the Michelle/Christian split, and then them working back together again.

I always send my great aunt and great uncle, in their 90's, flowers for every holiday (I live 2 states away from them). I'd love to send them something besides flowers but I'm not sure what is appropriate.

She will be 3 in march and she has always been difficult. When her daddy was deployed the first time (6 months- 1 year old) She slept with me. When he came home she slept in her crib. Well he is gone agian and now she is older and back in my bed and I want her to get back into the her bed before he gets home agian (in 3 months or so). Its really difficult and I cant take 2 hours everynight. She is notorious for making her self vommit when she crys and so putting her in there and just letting her cry it out doesnt always work!!! Any help will be great!

its a guy at my school that whenever im by myself he has a blank stare no smile, just nonchalant stare. i dont like it. he does when he's around females and when he's by himself. he never says anything, but in publich he speaks to me that makes me confused.

1. i just purchased a new ball python, and because i haven't been bitten yet, i guess you could say i'm a little fidgety and scared. when i'm handling him, and he slithers away out of my hands, it's sort of intimidating to just pick him back up. would a ball python bite in this sort of situation? if he is trying to slither away and i pick him back up, would this aggravate him or is he just exploring?

2. the first time i'll feed him is in a couple of days. many websites say not to handle the snake for a couple days after feeding him, but to feed him in a separate container such as a tub or a box. how is the snake supposed to stay in that container for a couple of days without the heat lamp, uv lamp, etc.? to move him back to his cage, i will need to handle him.

help would be greatly appreciated.

What IS and ISN'T absolutely necessary to keep someone from infringing on my design and my "potential product's" name? What is the cheapest way to get the proper documentation done? I'm 5'7 i'm like 127lbs and I just measured my breast size on a bra converter to figure out what size I am and it said a 32 AA.... I know it seems so shallow to be obessed with this but it doesn't seem normal for someone my height and weight to have a 32 AA.... I just wanted to know some other womens sizes at my age so I can see if I'm normal. because I don't know why I'm not growing like all the other girls in my grade that are all at least a B or C even DD. Argggghh I just feel very frustrated about this for a reeaaallly long time. I know some people are slow at growing b.oobs but I'm feeling like my body forgot to turn on the puberty button. >.>
