I am a 28yr old stay at home mom of 2. The last time that I went out dressed up was about 2 yrs ago. I am 5'4" 150lbs and a size 12. What is a good place for me to shop? I love NY & Co but is that appropriate? I have a shirt that I purchased at Charlotte Rouse a couple of years ago that is sheer lace with velvet trim and bell sleeves..only worn once...can I wear it again and not look like I am out of the fashion loop? Ok, So my husband and I were eating at a restaurant last night and as I was eating my salad I bit down on an object in salad. It was a nose ring! Evidently the person making the salad lost it while making my salad. The manager told me that he would pay for my dinner even though he knew that he didn't have too. I am also wondering if there are any health risks. The ring was sharp and hurt. But can any dieses be past?

Is QUAD stuff just a failed Seventies thing, or is it still embraced by some people?

It seems like a good idea, and as a small kid I remember listening to my oldest Brothers true Quadraphonic set-up in the Eighties and I remember it sounded very cool. He had several Quad players, including a turntable, reciever, open reel and even a eight track unit, all set up for Quad. I think it was all SONY stuff, and he had a ton of albums in QUad. Too bad he sold off all of his gear to a collector a long time ago, or I would have bought it myself!

So, I am wondering if anyone still manufactures a true Quad set up, and if anyone sells new music mixed for Quad, or is this stuff been pushed aside a long while ago.

It's seems like a cool idea that could still have some appeal as opposed to mere Stereo.

Good morning everyone,

After more than a decade at a commercial bank, I left six months ago to pursue a new opportunity with a new commercial banking institution.

The new institution made it very enticing to come on board, but the job has turned out to be a nightmare. I only perform about 10% of my job description, and on the day I started, my manager told me that an intermediate manager was hired and that I would be reporting to this individual. (I did not know this previously).

Turns out that absolutely no one likes this individual for a variety of reasons and I have some severe conflicts with this guy. He also has severe conflicts with his own boss.

So, given that I have been there such a brief period of time, is it too soon to leave? How do I explain my short stint? I'm not a job hopper as evidenced by my extremely long tenure at my previous employer.

Ladies - why do you give your phone number to guys who you do not want to call you? You know what I'm talking about - you give your number, and when the guy calls, you don't pick up, and you don't return his voicemail message.
