I am a 28yr old stay at home mom of 2. The last time that I went out dressed up was about 2 yrs ago. I am 5'4" 150lbs and a size 12. What is a good place for me to shop? I love NY & Co but is that appropriate? I have a shirt that I purchased at Charlotte Rouse a couple of years ago that is sheer lace with velvet trim and bell sleeves..only worn once...can I wear it again and not look like I am out of the fashion loop? I still have a tummy from my last pregnancy and I just want to look HOT at my husbands work X-Mas party on Sunday.....HELP!!

The problem I am having is that nothing is made for women 25-30 years old. Either it's big and frumpy, or so tight that you can see every bump and curve. Some of us are still blessed enough to be able to shop in the junior's department, but we run the risk of looking to "girlie;" yet shopping in the women's department makes us look too old. The best place that I found clothes lately, is JC Penney. While they have great fashion in all departments, thay also have a misses section for those of us with real woman parts. Go online to:

I really like Express. They have really fashionalbe things there... A bit pricy, but sometimes it's worth it. Charlotte Rouse is good for things when you only tend to wear something once or twice. The clothing at Express lasts for a long time. Plus right now they have some really nice, classy, and sexy dresses that will be perfect for your party. Or just some nice black pants and a nice shirt, which they have many of. Hope that helps. :)

lane branyt has really nice clothes for your size they should have a website to go to. do not wear that top you got from CR! and shop around online for cute clothes that are your size.
