Power Play is introduced in Cricket now a days in order to make cricket spectator friendly by making teams score more runs normally till first 15 overs only 2 players are allowes to stand outside the inner circle but now the ICC has made that into 20 overs and the bowling team can use as 5 overs each every time and can use it at any point of the game.

there r three powerplys in odis first one which is compulsory to take and is of 10 over second and third are of 5 overs each and u should take them at any time powerplay basically is when 2 players are out of the inner circle that is 30 yards and in the first power play there should be 2 men catching that is in the slips, mid wicket, silly point amd those near kind of positionsnear the batsmen
