I asked this in the movie section and wanted to get an opinion from the religion section. Seemed to me that the older penguins were always depicted as religious and biased and inflexible. The younger penguins had to do their own thing true to their nature and couldn't change. I couldn't find one positive depiction of religion but many negative ones. Strong animal rights theme. Subliminal anti religious theme? Your thoughts?

I've got the sims 2 for xbox. on the game, i like to make families, but the only thing is, is that you cant have kids. i dont know how, if you can. i know that you can make them on the sims 2 for computer, but can you make them on the game for xbox? if so, how? thanx!!

The point of the experiment was to determine what effect the plant (elodea) had on CO2 levels. In the experiment I got three test tubes. I filled each of them with BTB solution, which was an indicator to tell me how much carbon dioxide was left in the test tubes. The way that I know how much carbon dioxide is left is by looking at the color. Yellow meant it was rich in CO2 and Blue meant it was rich in O2. So then I added the plant to two of the test tubes, and the third one was left alone. Then i covered one of the plants with aluminum foil and I put all the test tubes in front of an open window. After an hour, I checked the test tubes. The one that didn't have a plant was blue. The one that was wrapped in foil was yellow and the one thatw wasn't wrapped was green-blue. all I know is that the one in the foil was the richest in CO2. But I don't understand why. I thought plants even water plants needed light to do photosynthesis. Now I have to write an introduction, including...

If they aren't vegans then they're total hypocrites. I'm so tired of seeing scenester types wearing trendy suede shoes, talking about how cruel fur is. If they could afford it I bet they would wear it too, and somehow justify that. I'm not into fur, I don't own any, I don't think it even looks good most of the time, but animal rights activists are total morons sometimes. I have yet to meet one who is sane and logical. I don't see any real difference between eating meat, wearing leather, or wearing fur. People who say that it's "less of a waste" to kill the cow, eat it, and wear it are totally missing the point. Does it really matter if the animal was killed for its meat or its hide? It was tortured and killed anyway. Our society is the most wasteful one on the planet. An animal's corpse will at least rot naturally, and not harm the earth. And people don't even eat all of the cow. They kill it to selectively eat the good meat.

I was in a relationship for 2 yrs. Usually I breaks it off with her but I'd come right back- her tears. She loved me so much, I couldn't get away. I don't think I really wanted to be with a female not serious. I felt bad because she got my name tatooed on her neck, so I always felt like it was my place to stay. I've felt so much pain and I didn't want her too feel it she's younger than me. Now that she's gone I should be thrilled but I'm not, why? I used to treat her so bad the things I'd say was unreal- I was so depressed and I felt like my spirit was being pulled down. I know the relationship was bad because I didn't want to hurt her so I let her hurt me but still I hurted her too with the things I'd say. She abused me physically once- thats when I died inside- she never did it again she claims. She doesn't love me no more because she's tired. I always made her cry but its because of this new girl, please help me- what should I do? What's wrong with me? Am I in love with her?

Just wondering what people think of makeover formats such as; 10 Years Younger, Extreme Makeover and the new Trinny and Susannah Undress. What are these programmes doing and is it harmful to an audience? The first two are about how surgery can transform one's life, but they hasten to add that surgery can actually be life threatening. People that go on these shows have real problems and experts believe that these will all disapear with a few surgical changes. What do people think? Are these good formats or harmful and intrusive?
