I think they are very extreme, and what's worse, not even doing what they claim their goal is.

From July 1998 through the end of 2005, PETA killed over 14,400 dogs, cats, and other "companion animals" -- at its Norfolk, Virginia headquarters.

PETA raked in nearly $29 million last year in income, much of it raised from pet owners who think their donations actually help animals. Instead, the group spends huge sums on programs equating people who eat chicken with Nazis, scaring young children away from drinking milk, recruiting children into the radical animal-rights lifestyle, and intimidating businessmen and their families in their own neighborhoods. PETA has also spent tens of thousands of dollars defending arsonists and other violent extremists.

PETA has repeatedly attacked research foundations like the March of Dimes, the Pediatric AIDS Foundation, and the American Cancer Society, because they support animal-based research that might uncover cures for birth defects and life-threatening diseases. PETA president Ingrid Newkirk has said that “even if animal research resulted in a cure for AIDS, we would be against it.”

I do,

To all PETA members:

Please explain this: PETA KILLED over 90% of animals they took in (2005 http://www.petakillsanimals.com/petaKillsAnimals.cfm and a pdf of the documents http://www.petakillsanimals.com/downloads/PetaKillsAnimals.pdf ). Don't give me tell me, like PETA does that they were un-adoptable look here and tell me those puppies and kitten were un-adoptable.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/06/17/national/main702624.shtml

Here are pictures of the puppies and kittens WARNING GRAPHIC

http://www.petakillsanimals.com/petaTrial2.cfm

http://www.petakillsanimals.com/petaVictims.cfm

Now here’s a quote from CNN about 2/3 the way down the page

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0512/16/acd.01.html

“SANCHEZ: Do you think people would be surprised to know just how many animals your organization euthanizes?

NEWKIRK: Yes. I absolutely do, even though we have been trying to tell this story for years, because, unless people know, then they're not going to start spaying and neutering.”

Explain why PETA targets children? While, Ingrid Newkirk said "everything we do is based at adults"

Lets start with PETA's "Your Mommy is a Killer", or “Daddy Kills Animals” two comic books. How many adults read comic books? Or when PETA promised to distribute Bloody Crown Meals to children at Burger King and Unhappy Meals at McDonald. Or maybe its drink beer not milk campaign. I could go on and on. And yes I know PETA claims now it was tongue-in-cheek.

On the cover PETA calls them a comic, and if your child saw them they would think they are a comic, links later.

Maybe you can explain why PETs support Terrorists? Yes, I can provide PROOF that they do.
Or did you forget about Rodney Coronado, who PETA’s President Ingrid Newkirk called “a fine young man”

http://www.animalscam.com/references/peta_rodney1.cfm

But, you may believe the ends justify the means. I don’t; what you do is far more important than what you say. If you say you are ethical and don’t act that way then you are not and by their actions neither is PETA

I know you won't take my word for it and I wouldn't either so I'm going to start with the PETA.ORG links. Surely you can believe PETA. I'll show where PETA targets children.

Here's a link to PETA.org

http://www.peta.org/about/hottopic004.asp

"Our "Your Daddy Kills Animals" Campaign intends to help fathers understand the message that they are sending to their children by fishing."

There you will find a link to www.fishinghurts.com and here's a link to the comic.

http://www.fishinghurts.com/feat-newcomic.asp

and a pdf of the comic

http://www.fishinghurts.com/pdfs/DaddyKillsAnimals.pdf

Read it please.

I've noticed that PETA doesn't carry the comic on the PETA site anymore, but through a link from PETA I got the link and posted it here.

"Your Mommy is a Killer" was a comic.

http://www.furisdead.com/pdfs/mommykills.pdf

Both www.furisdead.com and www.fishinghurts.com belong to PETA.

Yes, I make no secret that I’m anti-PETA for many more reason that I’ve listed here.

I know you probable aren’t going to reply. That ok I understand the truth hurts, but the truth will set you free. Oh if you see ANY errors post a reply and I’ll edit my most, after I check out your information.

Yes some of the links are from groups that are anti-PETA, but notice they scan the documents in so you can do your own research and check them out.

Lead a good life.

Edit

Before you point out that on PETA's web site they claim they don't give the leaflet, they call it a leaflet although the cover clearly calls it a comic, to anyone under 13 but I've seen them given out to grade school children.

Their actions can be extreme and actually repel some ppl from understanding their point of view. I actually agree on some points but their approaches are not a benefit to their cause. By the way, are PETA vegetarians?

Yes I think they're extreme. They act as if animals are some sacred race that can't be touched. It's like if you so much as think about animals, you're abusing them. I love almost all animals and believe they should be protected from abuse. But PETA goes too far.

Animals deserve rights, they should have a stable existence till now they're eaten, they don't should be filled into sheds without room to circulate, different animals loss of life and rotting around them, being fed and bred to the factor they are able to't even walk anymore. we are completely able to giving them a stable, satisfied existence till now we eat them, yet, we are so reliant on rapid, low cost meat that this is totally confusing to do efficiantly. we would like our meat NOW and we would like it for a cost we are able to have sufficient money. (think of fowl nuggets, might you pay for them in the event that they tasted an identical yet fee you £2 extra, on account that they had had a extra suitable existence?) This ends up in mass production, which in turn ability the farmers could shrink corners, and shove extra animals right into a smaller section to make extra of a income. in the event that they don't, they gained't be waiting to cover their expenditures almost as straight away or actual because of the fact the battery shed around the corner, if in any respect. With fish, we overfish because of the fact we would prefer to eat further and extra of it. The extra fee-effective the fish is, the extra people purchase it, the extra we desire, it fairly is a persevering with circle which will ultimately be ended via mass-education or becoming expenditures, because of decrease fish shares and smaller catches. factor approximately flowers is, they don't look to be lovable, they don't run around, they don't make noise and have no genuine "sentience" that we are able to work out. we are able to in undemanding terms pull them out the floor and nom them, no issues. you could improve flowers with plenty much less hastle than you could animals, they take much less skill and much less area to enhance, and that they don't have each and all of the environmental subjects, alongside with pollutants of interior of reach floor and rivers, that a battery-shed might. (think of of how plenty one animal poos, then multiply that via even though if many animals are in that shed. Now the place is all that waste going to circulate?) so a approaches as i will tell, having under no circumstances fairly paid any interest to them, PETA's view is that something that involes the death of animals is misguided, yet flowers are possibly ok. some people do not even like ingesting flowers, I dunno what they stay off, soil and air i think. PETA are the fundamentalists of the animal-rights international. somebody has to get those messages accessible or perhaps though in the event that they do it interior the incorrect way, a minimum of they convey about some public information.

"do you find PETA extreme?"

thats like saying 'do you find the sky blue?'

yes, they are very extreme and kinda crazy.

they took a good concept(treating animals well) and went crazy with it(funding eco-terrorists, killing most of the animals given to their adoption places)
