Married in 2003, found out he was cheating a month later, followed by physical abuse, then wouldn't allow me to see my side of the family for more than one day a week, and would time how long we were over there so we could make up that time to his family. Had a son in 2004, the abuse continues, left him went back because he promised to go to marriage counseling with me, tried marriage counseling but he decided he didn't need help because nothing is wrong. Then he left because his reserve unit became activated. Saw this as my opportunity to leave him without the risk of more physical abuse, so packed up his belongings and informed his parents of situation and moved his things back to their house. his parents hate me because he tells them lies, that nothing ever happened when he admitted everything to our counselor!

I file for divorce in April 2006, took me awhile to file becuase it was hard decision I had told him it was over in January, yes while he was overseas.

I was talking to my grandma the other day and she told me something that I will never forget. She said for the first year of marriage, put a penny in a jar every time you have sex. Then after that first year, take a penny out of the jar every time you have sex. She said by the time you die, the jar will still have pennies in it. Now I know women say that they dont change after marriage, but my grandma whos is 83 says that is just BS. She says women who say this are just trying to fool you into marrying them. What you people think of my grandma??? is she wise or what????

i have loved this man for 10 years since we were in highschool, after we broke up (in high school) we haven't seen each other. until one day he came back and we became good friends, he said he still likes me and we can continue what we have started before... but one day he just suddenly changed, he's not answering my calls and email, i haven't heard from him anymore... and it really bothers me alot. i wanted to tell him that i still love him so deeply... but i'm afraid of his reaction and might hear something that might hurt me... i almost believe in destiny when he came back but now... i'm in deep pain, and misses him so much... what should i do??

I don't understand how you can argue for killing of an unborn child for the sake of a mothers choice, but argue against the killing of a convicted criminal.

The most common answer I have heard is that the criminal may be innocent of the crimes he/she has been convicted of and therefore not deserve the death penalty. But an un-born child has not had a chance to be anything but innocent. I have also heard that the death penalty is cruel an unusual punishment. But partial birth abortions are pretty horrific themselves. I don't understand the situational ethics.

Someone explain this to me.

last night was our school's senior night at the football game! we won and after the game we were invited onto the field to talk to the players. i have a crush on one of the senior players (im a junior) and i called him over to congratulate him...at first he kinda hung his head and shook it like he was pissed....i dont no what to make of that b/c afterwards he did come over and talked to me! but what do i do next? a group of us wants to go to the movies with guy friends if we have them...he was gonna go but should i tell him i want to go with him? or is there something else i should do?
