Definitely a question after my own heart!

Do They Know Its Christmas (original version)
Last Christmas (Wham)
2000 Miles (Pretenders)
Ring out Solstice Bells (Jethro Tull)

All I Want For Christmas Is You (Maria Carey)
The Power Of Love (Frankie Goes to Hollywood)
Happy Xmas, War Is Over (John & Yoko, NOT Pop Idols)
Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End) (Darkness)

Fairytale of New York (Pogues)
Silver Bells (Jim Reeves)
I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day (Wizzard)
When A Child Is Born (Johnny Mathis)

Keeping The Dream Alive (Freiheit)
Thank God It's Christmas (Queen)
2 Become 1 (Spice Girls)
Saviours Day (Cliff Richard)

and the foot-stomping classic.....

Merry Christmas Everybody (Slade)

There are also some songs which, although not strictly festive, were released at Christmas and can be considered as so:

I Have a Dream (Abba)
Stay Another Day (East 17)
Earth Song (Michael Jackson)
Mad World (can't remember the artist)
Stick With You (Pussycat Dolls)

and one for the bin.....

Do They Know It's Christmas (Stock, Aitken, Waterman version)

I'm in band at my school and we already started our Christmas songs in September! Last year we played Sleigh Ride, even though we made fun of it by changing the song's title to, you guessed it, Slay Ride! And then we learned Russian "Slay" Ride. That was pretty cool, and Joy, or something like that. This year we are learning to play Winter Wonderland, Let It Snow, Glorioso :P, and It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year. I really like God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, Jesu Joy of Mans Desiring, Sleigh Ride, and Russian Sleigh Ride. I absolutley love Carol Of the Bells!!!!

The one about the boys of the NYPD choir, I forget what it's called. So bittersweet, a story of love gone sour...what Christmas is all about for a lot of people I suspect...I love the line "you cheap lousy fagg*t"

I also like the Slade one that starts, "It's Chriiiiiiiiiiiiistmas!!!!!"

Do they know it's Christmas

Driving home for Christmas

This is all overlooking the fact that it's only November and Christmas is still a long long way away....
