I read anything I can get my hands on. I am often caught reading my daughters books. I really like her Eragon stories and also the Bartimaeus trilogy. I just can't pass up a book especially if it is thick. The genre doesn't matter. I'm a Stephen King fanatic and I adore his Dark Tower series. All those flashbacks and 'story within a story' type novels really do it for me.

I am a big fan of James Patterson and Ann Rule. Ann Rule writes true-crime novels, such as The Stranger Beside Me (she knew Ted Bundy before he was arrested and suspected of serial murder) and James Patterson writes thrillers. His books have been turned into movies before - Along Came A Spider, Kiss The Girls, and 1st To Die. Of course, the books are always better than the movies.
