My mother has been smoking since I can't remember. My sister, father, and I have tried to persuade her to quit thousands of times, but she just can't stop. A few times she promised us she would quit, but none succeeded and she continues to smoke to this day. She used to smoke just about a pack a day; but thankfully, she has decreased the amount to 4-5 a day, as I am aware. We have tried so hard to show her pictures of black lungs, to persuade her that smoking is horrible and that she may get lung cancer; heck, we have given it our best effort and still she is yet to quit. If you have a loved one that is smoking, you know how hard it is for me, knowing that she is killing herself day-by-day and there is nothing you can do to stop her. I have tried many attempts to hide her cigarettes, or throw them away, but I end up feeling like a fool when she simply goes and buys some more. She doesn't seem to care how much we want her to quit, and I don't know what to do. Someone please help..?

Why do you think you have a soul?? What evidence do you have & What happens right after death??? Why should we
follow everything in the bible when it was translated by man who is flawed??? I believe we should be good to one another but I don't think God hates Gays or anything like that....How do you know stuff like that wasn't added by man???

I am sort of christian but I have to question....it's in my nature!!!

Im wonder the Republicans know they gotta shove the Herbas Corupas and Terrorism legislature quick because they know democrats would not let those bills pass. I would say no. the glaring reasons are take the cases of Grame Hick, Ronnie Irani , Mark Ramprakash, and so many. The score 100 100's and perform very poorly when it comes to international cricket. Take the case of Hamish Marshall a middle order bat from Newzeland he was struggling last season averaging less than 15, went to county , scored heaps of runs there and came back to the ICC champions trophy to make single digit scores again. So no talent or real competition i see in the English county. whereas India's Duleep trophy tournament can match even the Australian Domestic cricket. Your thoughts please

so i was at this formal dinner last night, we had a reception in the lobby, there was plenty of beautiful women around and i was with my buddies having a good time there was also a photographer that was taking pictures of all the groups that were there and he had an assistant. i thought she was the cutest thing so i talked to her few times and she even let us in front of the line to take pictures. when me and my buddies were going off to dinner i asked her for her number and she gave it to me and said she will be waiting for me to call. next day i sent her a text message saying hey, she sent one back to me and i asked her if she knew who i was, no answer, i called her few hours later and got her voicemail, left a message and still no call back. my question should i call back again or she just changed her mind? we live around 100 miles apart but i dont see that as a problem

How can I tell if he's interested in more? I introduced myself to this guy and he seemed surprised. After a couple of days he started to say hi to me first or get my attention then we'd make small talk. I think he knew I liked him since I always used to say hi to him and smile and make the eyes at him. Now he comes up to me in the library and we make small talk and he'll come say goodbye to me before he leaves if he's sitting near me but how can I tell if he likes me the way that I like him? Shoes need to be black and dressy to be worn with black slacks. Something like a penny loafer style with somewhat of a heel. So far my running shoes are the only thing that doesn't have my feet dying at days end and they aren't acceptable. Can't wear Crocs, too casual. Tried shoesforcrews and not even KINDOF comfortable. Is this hopeless?
