Yes, it took a long time, but it's been 6yrs. and it's the best thing I've ever done. I enjoy life again and remember it the next day :)

Well as the price went up the drinking went down then i was diagnosed type 2 diabetic so I gave it up easely dont miss it a bit although if I went to a wedding etc I will toast the bride and groom but no more than that its surprisingly easy when you set your mind to it .If I go to a Bistro a hotel with meals I have diet coke people think I am having bourbon and coke but I never get booked for drunk driving .HaHa.

Nope. But it seems like a really good idea most hangover mornings. I suppose the hardest bit would be tolerating the drunks when i am completely sober.

my dad recently went to rehab for it and its been great having him back sober. he was an alcoholic for twenty years and it destroyed his marriage but now he's so much happier and living life the way it was intended to.

Yea.. the side effect..I realized i couldn't stand most of the people i knew..totally changed my life! lol
