I read these boards and see you say how it is terrible to kill deer and other animals and how hunters should die for what they do.
If left unchecked, the deer will overpopulate areas, causing injury to humans, starvation amongst the deer population, spread diseases, and destroy farm crops. Hunting keeps the population in balance and provides uncontaminated food to many.
Look what corporate farming has done to the “normal” food supply in America. Is it more inhumane to shoot a free range deer that has a chance to evade a hunter or to raise a cow in a small pen shared with other cows, standing in its own filth, eating grains filled with hormones and antibiotics?
Hunting provides people with food and recreation. The money spent by hunters provides a boost to the economy. Licensing provides an income stream to state governments. Hunters spend money on land and habitat improvements to make areas better for wildlife to live.
What is wrong with the hunting concept?
