Most people of the United States have a good heart, and have their country's best interests at heart. They just have different ways of going about it, depending on how they were reared.

They want power. Everyone competes over power; whether it's a basketball team trying to win the finals, a student trying to be head of the class, or an author trying to top the bestsellers list. The more power that's at stake, the more the rivalry.

Because Republicans are fighting a war on terrorism and the Democrats our on the same side as the terrorists.

Its all about ego and power. While I tend to think very staunchly from a Republican perspective, in general, I really don't like politics or politicians. My sense is that most of them don't have their hearts in the right places. Its not about service, like it should be, but rather about power and ego.
