I have been working since I was 15 years old. I had my daughter with my girlfriend of 4 years when I turned 19. I worked full time and took care of my family, and this left little time for college, so the jobs I have worked have been not which I consider career choices and are not going to put my girl through college, so I am now working part time at a restaurant making tips and going to a community college. My girlfriend and I split up 2 years ago and I have struggled to land a career with a good company so I can be a good role model for my kid and also support myself. I feel like I am 26 going on 19, and maybe the military give me a respectable status as well as enough money to get a college education. I am bored with my job, and I only get to see my daughter 2 weekends per month. I dont feel I am living the life of a 26 year old man. Some guys my age own houses and have started families. I want my daughter to have a father who is proud of himself, and maybe this time away can be o.k

I have known this guy for about 9 months now.. Obviously, I like him. I know no one knows for sure if this guy likes me, but before I ask him I want to get some second opinions to make sure my friends aren't just being nice.

Ok, so this guy, he always talks to me, asks me questions about myself, when he talks to me he looks me straight in the eye, but not in an agressive way. Sometimes the tone of his voice gets softer, and he playfully hits me and makes excuses to touch me. Alot of times he'll tease me. As far as I know he doesn't treat other girls like this, and he only has a few friends that are girls, and I am one. (of about three.) I know everyone is different, but do you think he likes me? Hopefully I won't be considered stupid.. = P

Oh and it would also be appreciated if you told me anything else he might do if he likes me??

Oh I feel so lame right now...

I just moved to a new high school as a junior. I've spent three days so far. What gets to me is lunch period. I spend lunch hour eating alone on the floor in front of everyone. I kinda feel them staring at me and it's kinda awkward when some familiar people ask me, "Hey dude, do you spend your time here everyday?" I don't want to admit it because I'm afraid of embarassment. I've finished all my assignments for today so I have nothing to do. I just sit there... and stare at people.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not anti-social but, however, I'm mildly introverted. I talk alot when I'm in class, just that I spend lunch alone. I want things to change, you know? Anyone, please leave some advice or comments and feedback or whatever.

Thanks to everyone (if anyone) who spends some of their time to share thoughts.

I have a VW Passat station wagon. We replaced both front and back brakes last November. Last month a terrible grinding in the back sent me running to the dealer's service dept. and they said that our front brakes had 10% usage, but the back had lost 90%. Is that possible?? Could it be that the dealership didn't replace the brakes last year like they said?

we met and we clicked instantly, things were good and we finally ended up getting close (but nothing serious) after it all went down, he hasn't been returning my calls and the day he finally does, i don't have any wants to pick up--i'm sorry--i guess everyone's right telling me to kick em' to the curb and find a decent, good-lookin' ************ who will treat me good because goodness i ******' deserve that ****. it's a shame he's a player and has girls lined up and they're all after him--i can't blame him for having game like that--but for him to show interest in me but fake it just for me to be another girl on his side? that's extremely foul! so, if there's a genius out there, pleaseeeee tell me why do you guys act like that after we do something good to you? it's almost as if you guys compete to see who gets the most girls and you suck because there's already one who's good for you, if you'd just open your eyes--i would have treated you so good and you're blind to realize that JERK!

okay well I had a baby in May and I have been on the depo every since that. You are told to select some product. Thereafter you are bombarded with daily offers of "free" lap tops, digital cameras etc. You can't claim cos you are not eligible by not being a US redident. You opt out of the emails but they continue for the next year. Can I take legal action to force these people to eihter stop the emails or give me what they are "offering"?
