I am newly single after a 14 year relationship. I want to find a woman that will love me for me. I have been out of the dating scene for so long that I am a bit nervous when talking to new people. Women always ask "what happened to all the nice guys?" Well I know that is me and that I have a lot to give, I just can't find the right woman to give what's left of my heart to. Ladies, please help. What am I missing?

When you introduce yourself to a guy basically equivalent to a nervous retard and he was obviously uncomfortable too, how do you recover from the situation. I see this guy all the time. We both seem retarded around eachother. Should I try to go talk to him again and just be myself (which I know I can do) or should I just let it go and avoid eye contact with him like he seems to be avoiding eye contact with me?
