I have a Gateway Mx Notebook that was running XP but this installation is now corrupt.

There is an option in the BIOS menu to boot from LAN so i connected my laptop to a desktop running XP via ethernet and started them both up.

The laptop just says 'DHCP.......'(whilst the desktop is saying 'acquiring network address')
and then says 'no DHCP offers were received on the laptop
Could anyone please tell me how to configure this? and if it is all possible.

Fell for a guy in work that i have known for 8 years. He always questioned why we never talked before. Well, i was married until 2 years ago, unhappy ...not knowing what to do....I know for a fact this guy has feelings too. However, i didn't push anything. He is married, one child. Of course there was flirting but not bad. His last day was yesterday. He is moving with family..... It was a hard goodbye to say the least...a couple hugs and then the stare and 'bye' . If i could have clone him I would. He is everything and more that I am looking for in a man. Kind, sincere , fun athletic, funny, handsome. Alot was left unsaid but understood.... I guess my question is ...do i tell him how i feel somehow ? we are keeping in touch with e-mail etc...I'm sure he will visit Boston too....What is something i can write him....without being too overwhelming...Should I tell him that i will miss him etc............

I have had both types of plans and prefer the prepaid method...I have t-mobile ToGo plan and the minutes don't expire for a year..I prefer prepaid for many reasons.I talk about 300 minutes a month and pay $100 for 1000 minutes......so basically i pay $100 every 3.5 months which is great for the amount of time I talk on the cell phone....I just found myself talking tooo much with a monthly contract with free nights and weekends (talking about nothing---just waisting my time). For the monthly contract I ended up paying $65 a month with ridiculous services fees and taxes. Anyone else have an opinion.....I'm not sure if I should pay the extra $40 a month for free nights and weekends....I have some money but not rich...and have a good job...opinions please....thanks

I love my husband and we have a great relationship. We've been together for almost 10 yrs and have been married for 4 1/2 yrs. He's been working about 54 hrs a wk and taking an intense class to be an EMT. It's 9 hrs of class per wk, but it requires a lot of studying and homework as well.

I know it's selffish, but I miss him and we aren't having sex much because he's so exhausted. He hasn't been sleeping much. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of what I can do to make him feel better and maybe more in the mood to have sex...I think I would help him destress. Serious answers please.

There are several very shallow but almost perfect human tracks found in the rocks in the mountains of New Mexico. The rock is of Permian Period of the Paleozoic Era, which is suppose to be from 299 to 251 million years ago(supposedly before the dinosaurs).

With this fact, how can evolution be true? According to evolution man came several million years after the dinosaurs? But these footprints say that they were several million years before dinosaurs!

The Bible says that man and dinosaurs lived together (they were called dragon, Leviathan, Behemoth and unicorn). The Bible has a better theory than evolution!

James Baker, the consult hired by the Bush Administration to come up with a plan to leave Iraq, had his report leaked to the Phoenix Sun claiming that there are only two strategies to leave Iraq and that they essentially "rule out any prospect of making Iraq a stable Democracy in the near term".

So my question is: since there were no WMD, we aren't in the dictator removal business, and Iraq isn't actually going to get a Democracy, did we officially loose?

It's kinda hard for me to say that we did, because we never really had any goals or plans in the first place.

What are your thoughts? At what point do we realize that this failed and that constitutes a loss?

I have family in thailand, and i haven't seen them in a while but i still talk to them on the phone. I went there about 5 years ago and I had a lot fun. This time i'd have to go during school and be gone for about 2 and a half weeks. But at my school they are offereing an exchange to London for 3 weeks in the summer, and I've never been there, and I really want to go!!!! Both trips will cost about the same, i tried a pros and cons list (they don't work) they came out even. so i really do need to decide soon.
