For my wife and I to have sex for several days,like we just met each other.At least 4 or 5 times a day doing everything from hardcore to romance.And then going a week or 2 without nothing.Why?

Well its normal for you two so why worry about it? Just enjoy it. Every couple is different so whats normal for one is not normal for the other. Sounds to me like you are both happy so go with it!

No I would say not normal. But only the part about doing it for a couple of days, and 4 or 5 times a day.
But I think the part about going a week or two without it is about right.
I have been with my man for 5 years and we only do it once or twice a week, with no foreplay, and it last only a couple of minutes. I wish we still did it like that!

Sounds like exhaustion to me! If you have sex 5 times a day..and then nothing for a week or two so what? Enjoy it while you get it...and then enjoy the rest period!! The national average is what 3 times a week...I dont beleive that....you sound like you guys have it totally together...stop worrying about the cool down periods and enjoy the 'on' times!

Normal. My husband and I can go at it like two teenagers in the backseat all week several times a day and then things cool down for awhile and we have regular married sex then it's back to the hot and heavy stuff!

Every relationship is different. It sounds like you have a pretty normal sex life to me, that's just the way ya'll like it..
