Do I have to soak the acorns in hot water and then keep in moist sand and peat mix for two weeks at 18 - 21 degrees and all that rubbish, or do I just plant in moist sand and peat and let the acorns just grow? How do I do it? Same question on how to grow a Walnut tree from walnuts?

Yep, I've deffintly been crushing on my BFF's (lets call her Grace) older brother. He is 19, and we'll call him Chris. (FYI I'm 17) I want to tell my other friend (lets call her Joanne) that I like him since she has a crush on Grace's OTHER, OLDER brother Max. She might be able to give me some good advice, but I'm worried then whenever I'm around Chris, I'll feel nervous about someone else knowing.

We are returning from London to South Africa after 3 years over here, but not sure where to live when we are back there. I am in finance (accounting/financial management,CA), my girlfriend is a teacher. Any suggestions? Bit scared of the crime, but also need to be a place where there's work and a good lifestyle. Not Johannesburg or Cape Town please - don;t want the traffic.

IT IS VERY ENLIGHTENING.
Conservatives generally carry these ideals:
Balancing the budget, small govt, limited govt, moral values...

But Neoconservatives have impulsively done this:
$8.5 trillion deficit, big business-supported government, new controversial laws being passed all the time because of "national security" that increases the power of the govt to the point of beyond extemity, and misleading the American public about the war without reluctance.

You really shouldn't identify yourself with radical neo-conservative beliefs unless you want to be known as a neoconservative.
True conservatives would not support the government's actions.
I would hope you still support traditional conservative values.

I have talked to many former republicans who have switched to libertarians in order to remain true to the core conservative beliefs.

Did republicans switch from conservative to neoconservative once Bush came along?

I live in Miami where there are lots of cubans and lots of them wear a charm around there neck of a saint whose name is (San Lazaro) a guy that walks with a pair of long walking canes under his arms and 2 or 3 dogs around him with wounds on his body, what i do know is that this so called "saint" is affiliated with Santeria. who is this this saint, anyone know?

I used to be pretty good friends with this kid who was in two of my classes. I used to have a crush on him and he found out because my friend and this girl announced it in front of him. I started homeschooling a year ago, my parents and I both agreeing that it was better for education. However, I am not religious, and have no way of meeting people. I was always the shy sit-in-the-corner kind of girl at school, and as consequence have ended up with shall we say "less than a lot of friends"? I prefer homeschooling as far as education goes, but feel I might go mad from lack of socialization in a day (I teach myself school, with my parents being at work). I have been considering public highschool to solve the problem, but really REALLY do not want to attend it. Any suggestions as far as clubs/groups go?

A good guy friend of mine is either very in touch with his feminine side, too much a fan of the food network, all out metrosexual, and has a very sing-song voice AND gay or all of the above and not gay. He's never admitted it, but I have a hunch. I will accept whatever orientation he is, I just want to know without offending him.
