I work for a large corporate retail Chain head office. One of my clients employed one of my friends 12 months ago. We had a meeting with the board and they have decided to put 3 people off at the end of the month. One of them happens to be my friend. She has know idea and will be deverstated when she finds out. I have been told to maintain the strictest confidence. but I want to do the right thing by her, but I also have to maintain professionalism. If I tell her she may tell others as she will be negative about the situation, I also would like to find her another job so she doesn't have financial pressures.

What should I do?

i have recently gave my car a intake with pod filter, the guy let me choose a filter with head shield and one without, i got the one without and there was not much increase in power but i gotta love the induction noise from the filter when u accerate. im just wondering if the pod filter with the heat shield will give u louder induction noise or not... any1 know by experience ?

my mom went out with her friends last weekend, and a couple of college age guys were hitting on her and they gave her thier number, name, and e-mail address.... well, she is married, and has 4 kids, she wants nothing to do with him. so she gave it to me... i think jokingly.... i texted the guy on my phone... and we are becoming friends... but how do i say anything to my mom, when a couple of days later i mentioned the number, and she said to throw it away.... am i techinically going behind her back??? the guy and i are 8 years apart, and i am in a rather strong relationship right now.. so there is nothing like that going on.... what should i do.... This lady ask me to model for her clothing store, this is the first time I am doing this modeling thing, and the show is next Sunday and there is going to be a lot of people coming and for one person it is $50.00, my bf always use to tell me to do it, know last week I ask him to take me to rehearsal he really didn’t want to take me I didn’t know were the place was, that was the reason I couldn’t do it my self. anyway after I got mad and all that he took me, and for the actual seen i don’t know if he is going to go? He is probably going to say no and I am going to need someone to take me there, I am just mad because one min he said its good, know he is saying that he doesn’t want to go, do I have a right to get mad, if that was him doing it I will be so happy I will love to go see him, but he really doesn’t want to come and see me what should I do guys?? he just doesn’t try to make me happy at all like when ever I see him I go to his house and we **** he doesn’t want to take me out to eat or movies I mean I need to be strong BUT I DON’T HOW ?? I'm with a guy who obviously loves me, he's completely my type, and I've never fell inlove with someone this much.
Although, he is extreemly highly payed but works on contract. He smokes and take things he shouldn't, and likes to stay home most of the time...and that's my only problem with him.
Another guy is a CEO of a big company, a celeb in a sertain industry, and he loves me excessively, took me to extreemly expensive restaurants, spa, holiday, resort...he's a big fun and I was completely pampered. We got separated because I couldn't really feel a strong sexual appeal from him, and he was just all over me. But we are good friends for 3years now.
My bf now has invited me to his familly Xmas this year. First time ever to invite someone, he says. The latter guy is still in love with me. He would do anything to make me happy...
Now that I'm 27, I do want to get married and have kids soon...I'm wondering if I should follow love and be unstable in money, or follow wealth...

Does anyone have a favorite mechanic they go to that:

1) treats them fair and is honest
2) offers a low price
3) can repair brake lines, evaporator lines, and fuel lines.

also, have you ever had those 3 parts replaced, for how much, and where? I was quoted a price of $1300!

My cell has limited minutes and is only used for emergencies. It's supposed to be listed on the no call registry (I know that list does not apply to non-profits, but pleeeese...politicians!). The call was from Jim Barnett who is the opponent to Kansas governor Kathleen Sebelius. Where do politicians get off calling cell phones and leaving prerecorded voicemails? Are there any laws at the federal or state level about this? I would be interested about laws from any state so I can try to get these bozos off my phone here too.

I'm worthless mathwise but follow astronomy avidly: If I'm understanding Einstine correctly, FTL is impossibile because mass increases with speed and exceeding it would cause you to reach infinate mass, needing infinate power to move...

My problem here: That's to an observer, for you (moving that fast) your mass is constant and thus no problem, right?

Seem more likely you simply couldn't DETECT something going faster then light. Besides, there is a glaring hole here. LIGHT goes the speed of light.

Regardless, I'm sure there's a way to do it. People said you couldn't break the sound barrier and before that most physisists said you'd be flayed-alive by wind-sheer if you hit 60mph.
