i have recently gave my car a intake with pod filter, the guy let me choose a filter with head shield and one without, i got the one without and there was not much increase in power but i gotta love the induction noise from the filter when u accerate. im just wondering if the pod filter with the heat shield will give u louder induction noise or not... any1 know by experience ?

The heat shield won't change the noise. But if you get a cold air instead of a short ram intake it will increase the power alot more. At least get the heat shield. Short rams allow too much heat and don't add much power.
