I'd like to download "Real Player", but I'm very paranoid about free downloads because of adware that might come along with any free download. What is the safest way to get "Real Player"?

realplayer is cool, just pay attention to the little check boxes that ask if you want to install blahblah.exe along w/ real player.
vlc is pretty damn good though.

When downloading free software it is best to start at the manufactures site and download it from them or one of the sites they list as having the download available.

thats the way they can give it to you for free if you look around long enough you can find it (I call it) scumware free if you know what I mean. a good player is VLC player the link below will start the download for ya VLC plays almost everything out there
