I am 16 my best friend of 3 years has been my boyfriend of 2 years. He moved an hour away and I have been uneasy about him talking to a girl in class. I love him, but I need help trusting him more. He has never given me any reason to doubt him, so why does it bother me?

ur only 16 and a lifetime ahead of u..but if u don't have trust u don't have anything,and if he does cheat than he was really not for u .u see this will tell if he is ur boyfriend or not ..hope everything goes well for u .

You said your boyfriend lives an hour away. That's not a too far from you, in my opinion. In order to trust someone you first have to be able to trust yourself. Are you afraid of being cheated on because you don't want to be made to look like a fool or is it something else? What you can do is ask him to be honest with you about is friendship with this other girl. But be careful, you don't want to make it sound like you're accusing him of anything. Have you ever been unfaithful to him? Usually those who were unfaithful in the past are suspicious of being cheated on in the future.

what you need to do is get over your jealousy - it's not heathy and unproductive. so what if he talks to another girl - don't you talk to guys and think nothing of it.
