Need more info on laser light...

Scientists have apparently broken the universe's speed limit.

For generations, physicists believed there is nothing faster than light moving through a vacuum -- a speed of 186,000 miles per second.

But in an experiment in Princeton, New Jersey, physicists sent a pulse of laser light through cesium vapor so quickly that it left the chamber before it had even finished entering.

The pulse traveled 310 times the distance it would have covered if the chamber had contained a vacuum.

The reason why I ask this is because I was with my boyfriend at his mom's video store. And this old lady was yelling at me because I was playing scratch and wins and she said it was illegal. I asked her, "Why? I'm 18." And she was like, "It's because you work here and it's against the law." So I told her that I was just there because of my boyfriend and that I do not work at the store. She just kept yelling at me and telling me that I should stand behind the counter if I wanted to do it. I got so pissed off because she embarrassed me in front of everyone in there and I hope she dies. Besides that, I would like an answer to my questions. Thank you.

So she said she doesn't but I've smelt smoke on her before. And today when I was looking for a pair of toe nail cutters in my dad's work bag I found a pack of cigarettes and a lighter.

I'm 18 and never had a girlfriend. I'm definitely good looking, that's not a problem. I guess the problem is I never really had the right opportunity to talk to girls and make relationships. Or if there was a chance, I never knew what to say.

Probably the most popular answer to this question is "join a club or some activity you like and meet people there". This doesn't work for me because I don't have time between work and school and don't really have one particular thing I like deeply.

I'm looking for someone 1-2 years younger so being a freshman at college doesn't help much. So I guess what I'm asking is what is a good place/situation to meet girls (by themselves and not in large groups or with other guys).
