This is a art assignment I have and was hoping to get some help in getting some ideas of what could describe our society now. I can only use pictures, no words in this assignment. Zeitgeist is german for spirit of the now, I need images that would give the viewer of these images an idea of the times we live in today. And I cannot do it on sports, anything else is fine though. So like whats popular in entertainment, the news, t.v., and music, and politics, things like that. So if anyone has any ideas for me please give some specific ideas of what kind of images I should look for. Thanks for the help! :)

OK What's the best and worst car you have ever owned?

There is no right or wrong answer.

If you are not old enough to have owned a car, then what about your Parents or perhaps even the Grandparents? What kind of car did they seem to love and hate?

WASHINGTON (ABD) - With violence spiking in Iraq and no end in sight, the United States is uneasily adjusting for a longer, more difficult fight that could tie down US ground forces for four more years. ( Just like Vietnam )

General George Casey, the top US commander in Iraq, served notice in Washington this week that levels of violence there have never been higher and are likely to stay high for some time.

Gunmen massacred nine staff members of a Baghdad satellite television firm Thursday, another day of car bombings and killings that have intensified during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

"We assume it will still get worse before its get better," said Major General William Caldwell, the US military spokesman in Baghdad. "We expect violence to continue to increase over the next two weeks, until the end of Ramadan." We don't know if the USA can win.

.....Single Mom.....need to stay home with my son for right now.......need cash assistance but they require you to work for the county to work off your cash assistance. There is no such thing as just taking welfare checks to stay home on your ***.......I've worked for 18 years.....and I am home schooling my son this year to catch him up on his math (as they push you through in public schools.......whether a child really passes or not)......Only one year desired to stay home with him.....but just because I'm home schooling him doesn't exempt me from working for the county to work the assistance off.......Might as well get my own job......That's not the problem...finding a job......I've always worked.....and can find a job anywhere.....liscensed hairstylist......certified piano teacher......

Oh, any smart aleck answerers are of no concern to me.....so don't waste your time............

Country Funeral

As a young minister, I was asked by a funeral director to hold a
grave-side service for a homeless man, with no family or friends. The
funeral was to be held at a cemetery way back in the country, and this
man would be the first to be laid to rest there.

As I was not familiar with the backwoods area, I became lost; and being
a typical man did not stop for directions. I finally arrived an hour
late. I saw the backhoe and the crew, who was eating lunch, but the
hearse was nowhere in sight.

I apologized to the workers for my tardiness, and stepped to the side of
the open grave, where I saw the vault lid already in place. I assured
the workers I would not hold them up for long, but this was the proper
thing to do. The workers gathered around, still eating their lunch. I
poured out my heart and soul.

As I preached the workers began to say "Amen," "Praise the Lord," and
"Glory," I preached, and I preached, like I'd never preached before:
from Genesis all the way to Revelations.

I closed the lengthy service with a prayer and walked to my car.

As I was opening the door and taking off my coat, I overheard one of the
workers saying to another, "I ain't never seen anything like that before
and I've been putting in septic tanks for twenty years.

The Star Spangled banner is an awful song about our flag. The melody is awful and it is very awkward to sing.
"America the Beautiful" is a lovely song and is actually about the United States!! Not just the darn flag!! Who's with me!?!? Write your congressperson!!
