Sounds like she believes she's indestructible. Check out the article on the link below. Here is an excerpt:
"Just because you can't see warts on your partner doesn't mean he or she doesn't have HPV. The infection can have a long incubation period. This means that months can pass between the time a person is infected with the virus and the time a person notices genital warts. Sometimes, the warts can take years to develop. In women, the warts may be where you can't see them--inside the body, on the surface of the cervix."
You might clue her in here and make sure that she is aware of the incubation period so that she doesn't unwittingly infect another person.

First of all I know exactly how you feel. I found out two years ago that I have genital warts and didn't know what to do I went out of my mind about what did I do wrong and tried to figure out who gave it to me but the doctor said it was hard to find out who because I could of had it for years but just found out. I didn't think anyone would ever want me again and that I would be alone for the rest of my life. One day I started talking to this guy that lived about 6 hours away from me in another state. I didn't really like talking to guys anymore because I didn't want to fall for them and have to be torn apart because I told them about my past. Well me and this guy I started talking to fell in love with me and didn't care about what I have. We have been together for over a year and are so much in love. Girl you will find a guy that cares for you and what you have won't even bother him. Trust me. I hope this really encourages you. Just don't give up. Tell me how you are doing.

There are rare cases found in which certain individuals are immune to the condition due to their type of skin and immune system. But, Genital Warts also commonly stays dormant, sometimes permanently. One could have it and never know. One could even be a dormant case and transmit it to another. Whether it stays dormant or not to the recipient is unknown in every case because we are all different.

Your friend has the virus. It is very contagious through skin contact and unprotected sex.
Within a few months or longer, the evidence will appear (genital warts).

Althought it's rare, a few people have a natural immunity to them. I think she's taking a big chance, and he's being a selfish jerk. She can develop cancer from HPV. She should refuse to be intimate with her bf until he gets the cure. The life she saves could be her own.

Your friend is a moron! Yes, she likely will get them. She should report her boy enemy , (he is no friend), to the health department. He is trying to pass a sexually transmitted disease to her. It is against the law and immoral. She could not only get them down there, but in her mouth, her throat, etc. And if I were you, I would not let her touch me, or share a drink with me. If you have children, DO NOT let her KISS them!
And I advise you to stay clear of him also. What if he uses the toilet and then shakes your hand. This guy is dangerous!
Good luck to you!

She probably already has them but hasn't broken out into the warts yet. Just because you don't have an outbreak doesn't mean that you aren't carrying hpv.

If she is having unprotected sex, she most likely already has them. If she is not showing symptoms, she probably just hasn't had a breakout yet.

Either they haven't shown up yet or she contracted a different strain of the same virus. Don't worry, she has it now. HPV is the most common STD in the world! There isn't a cure for it either.

If he won't go to a doc, doesn't she worry what else he may have?
She probably has them but doesn't know it yet.
