This is a art assignment I have and was hoping to get some help in getting some ideas of what could describe our society now. I can only use pictures, no words in this assignment. Zeitgeist is german for spirit of the now, I need images that would give the viewer of these images an idea of the times we live in today. And I cannot do it on sports, anything else is fine though. So like whats popular in entertainment, the news, t.v., and music, and politics, things like that. So if anyone has any ideas for me please give some specific ideas of what kind of images I should look for. Thanks for the help! :)

I guess an obvious option would be to browse through modern photo magazines like Life, National Geographic, etc. or search Yahoo images using keywords like “current events”. You might also consider throwing in a Spencer Tunick photo, just for fun – and his work does carry at least some spirit of the times. He recently won a case in the US Supreme court that made it possible for him to do his work legally in the US. Just search Yahoo images for his name. I don’t know if the link below will work, but it shows a lot of samples of his work. (It is just that page that came up when I searched on his name).
