Okay! My homecoming is coming up, this saturday-the 14, and I'm going with this guy that I really like. So this dance is semi-formal and my mom wants me to wear a dress instead of a skirt like I wanted. So does anyone know of any stores in Maine that carries pretty dresses the size of 12-14????? Or a store that carries a wide varity of dresses??

why are some words offensive?

why do we find words offensive such as the F word what makes it more offensive than other four letter words it still contains the same characters of the same alphabet it is technically just a word its not illegal to say it yet frowned upon if you do!!! jus wonderin if there is any explanation i think its stupid myself!!!

What can i use 5 egg whites for?

Hi everyone,
Ive just used 5 egg yolks to make some creme brulee. Now i have 5 egg whites in a bowl....what easy thing can i use them for? I know i could probably make a meringue but how would i do this or anything else i can make that doesnt need too many other ingredients?

So how does one get into acting as a profession?

I have read many profiles on many stars to try and get to the bottom of this question but I cannot. I am fifteen and I have always wanted to perform!
Now Kiera Knightley got an agent when she was four, how do you get an agent? And does getting an agent work? Does he/she take a cut of your wage or do you have to pay him/her up front?

What's with these shadows?

So I'm just back from a jaunt through the woods adjacent to my home on this bright sunny fall day, and at 1:45 PM E.D.T. I notice something strange (perhaps waking up for the first time in my life?) The shadows of the trees on the southeastern part of the property (the house faces southwest if that matters) are being cast to the north and slightly to the east while the shadows of the trees about 60 feet away on the southwestern part of the property are still being cast north and slightly west. Isn't the sun far enough away that the 60 feet should make no real difference? I'm looking for a serious answer here, really, don't just tell me to go back to sleep.
