my best friend has been copying me ALOT lately.im not sure if im stupid for getting all worked up about it. like i started dressing in all hollister. my friend starts getting all the same stuff im getting. like not just the fact that she started buyinghollister like me after i started, she gets the SAME EXACT THINGS. like the same shirt maybe only in a differnt color, if that. then we go school bag shopping at the end of summer. in the beginning of summer i get a bag with the hollister bird on it and carried it with me all summer, planned to use it in school. she goes n gets the SAME ONE. in school weretogether all the time. it would look retarded walkign around with the same bag. i told her and she gets it anyway. i get uggs. now she wants uggs after saying she thought they were ugly. i cut my hair short. she wants her hair short now. i find a new band i love, she starts listenin to them and adopts them as her fav band. she says she hates ipods. i get a nano. she gets one.

Who in God's name though Jim Thome deserved comeback player over Frank Thomas? Thome ONLY had more HR than Thomas, while Thomas led him in all other major stats and played for a playoff team... CARRIED that playoff team.

Thomas is not only comeback player, he's been considered as a candidate for MVP. Talk about your highway robberies. That was just rediculous.

I'm almost 28. When I was an undergrad I was a bad student. I wish I had a serious execuse for it but I was just immature and jerked around alot (girls and parties). Intelligence is hard to measure-whether I'm smart or not is beyond me; butI do not that I am capable of showing for class and doing the work. Now, more mature I feel, I want to go to grad school but I don;t meet many of the requirements-my GPA is 2.2! Does anyone have experience with bad records and getting into schools. They are so bureaucratic-what can I do to get past these requirements?

OK, I know the speed of light in vacuum, and the speed sound in a given medium. But if I had (say) 1km of wire, a BIG battery, light bulb and a switch connected in series (or slightly more technical version thereof). How long after closing the switch would it take for the bulb to light? Doubtless it depends on the voltage?? But say with these old transatlantic cables there must be some measureable delay?? Just wondered? any thoughts?

Me and my husband has been together for 6 years and we have children together. But the relationship is not the same all we do is argue, we dont do things together and we dont have a friendship, were just two people in the same house. when i ask him to do something he says ok but it never gets done. when i give him advise, he does the oppisite, but someone else can say the same thing a hour later and he thinks thats the best idea he ever heard.
