Do all you people who ignore us want to die? We are saving your lives!! If you actually listened to what we have to say, maybe you'll understand what I'm talking about.

how about this, what if someone came knocking on your door at 8 oclock in the morning saying that there was going to be a huge tornado and you need to leave. What would you do? would you tell them I'm not interested, or would you want to get moving and leave? That is exactly what we are doing. Jehovah wants you to serve him. If you are content with your religion, there is nothing I can do about it. But I'm just saying that we're only trying to help. I'm sorry if you don't like us but you are going to come across us sooner or later.

(2 Timothy 3:12-13) In fact, all those desiring to live with godly devotion in association with Christ Jesus will also be persecuted. 13 But wicked men and impostors will advance from bad to worse, misleading and being misled.

(2 Timothy 4:2-5) Preach the word, be at it urgently in favorable season, in troublesome season, reprove, reprimand, exhort, with all long-suffering and art of teaching. 3 For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. 5 You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.

I am sorry you have been treated so horrible. A true Christian would never do that. I always invite JW into my home. I do my best to bring them enlightment. Your religion has some strange views on things. People fear what they do not understand. Plus you do not use the same bible the rest of us Christians do. Even some of your bible stories are different. If you want a challenge, then go get yourself a Revised Standard or King James version bible and read it along with yours. Even a blind person can see the differences. There is nothing wrong with celebrating holidays and birthdays. Why should anniversaries be the only thing celebrated? Even Jesus had a birthday and I am sure He celebrated His birthday every year while He was on earth. By the way he was not really born in December. God goes by many names and Jehovah is just one of them.

You aren't exactly helping the faith.
First off, saying things like "you people" and talking about trying to save souls and things like that don't give across a very professional, or religiously professional appearance. You should continue doing your work. Persecution is something every religion is going to experience. But above all else remember : IF SOMEONE TELLS YOU NOT TO COME BACK, DO WHAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO AND MARK THEM ON THE TERRITORY LIST. This whole ordeal is giving Jehovah's Witnesses a bad name. Just do what you are supposed to, and when turned down...move on. Not everyone is going to convert religions, and not everyone is interested in your opinion of fact.
The truth will set you free, but that doesn't mean that everyone is going to believe in the truth.

It really isn't fair to only blame Jehovah's Witnesses for the door-to-door stuff. True, they have a pretty good track record for doing that. But a lot of other faiths do it too, like Mormons and some Christian churches.

Before I moved, there was a little country church down the road, and sometimes we would get visitors from that place, wanting us to come to their services, their revivals, etc. But, they usually kept it brief--they would talk to me for a moment, give me the obligatory pamphlet, and be on their way. Maybe I'm a pushover, but I'm fairly easy going about that. If knocking on my door and telling me about your church makes your conscience feel better, then so be it. Just don't go overboard with it. And most of the ones I have encountered didn't.

i think that i've been around long enough to know that people hold there beliefs very strongly, when Jehovah's Witnesses knock on the doors of these people and try to push a new belief system on them. Is it any wonder that people get fed up?

I often wonder what Jehovah's Witnesses would do if the KKK came around passing out pamplets and asking them to convert to bigotry. It was Jesus who said do to others what you would have them do to you.

I often wonder if Jehovah's witnesses would attract more people with honey then vinegar. Maybe mke relationships at work, school, and social events, then share with those friends about their beliefs after trust is built. Maybe then they'd have a better audience to hear there message.

Always remember that the medium is the message and people are offended by door to door salespeople because it seems like they are forcing something on you. DOn't be surprised at apprehension to your methods, it's natural

As an x JW I know what your going thru but keep the faith I think most don't like hearing the truth and if it means they need to change there lives they really don't want any thing to do with you it is so much easier to live in sin than to follow Gods word and live by the teachings that Jesus gave us.

And no I didn't get kicked out I left on my own and I still do think they are not bad just I felt they didn't have the love that Jesus taught us to use they were more bent on not talking to someone who was doing wrong than helping them and yes I have spoken to elders and no I will never return but you are doing right by not stopping the door to door

God Bless

Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

just keep these words in mind and you will be ok

I've chatted with a couple of JW ladies before. I regretted it. First, while it was a lovely discussion, they did not change my mind about my beliefs. Then - after I said I wasn't interested and politely showed the ladies to the door, they asked if they could come back. I said no. Guess who showed up on my doorstep the next week wanting to talk to me again? I gave them a chance to tell me what they had to tell me, I didn't agree -- and they kept coming back despite my request that they didn't. I was very nice, polite, and understanding. I was even willing to listen. But that wasn't enough. That's why these days I will never answer the door if it's someone I don't know. And if I see JW's coming - I do run.

The JW religion dimishes Jesus Christ to being merely the son of a greater father. This idea of the trinity is much like natural and worldly thinking and can also be considered polytheism.

I don't listen to any JW ideas because they believe in Jehovah God but they obviously don't believe in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Read Revelation and see that the Lord is the King of kings and Lord of lords, is alive for ages and ages, has the keys to hell and death, has all power in heaven and earth, is in the midst of the churches, etc.

After glorification, Jesus Christ is the Lord of Heaven and is to be worshiped as the God of heaven.

This message is supposed to be factual so I hope you don't feel like I'm being mean to you.

Lead by example. You see the problem with religious people, unlike spiritual people, is that you want to cast judgment on others. Also, if a person doesn't belong to your church (and all religions feel this way), you are going to hell. If religion was so great, why are there so many different types, beliefs? It makes me wonder quite frankly, which one of you guys is right. So I've drawn a very sensical approach to religion. It's simply social control. Be nice to people, give them food and clothes. Say nice things (encouragement). You don't have to belong to a church to do that. Do you. Stop ringing my doorbell. I don't want to be bothered.

You said "Do all you people who ignore us want to die? We are saving your lives!!"
This type of comment is the reason JWs are not liked. It disregards that other people with as much knowledge and sincerity as yourself have formed other opinions. How many religions have you researched thoroughly in order to be able to judge that only JWs are worthy of Gods love? Do you even know the history of your own religion? If not, and before you condemn all "worldly people (non JWs)" to death, maybe it would be wise to look at sites like jwfacts.com.
