It is NOT pronounced as if it were spelled N U K U L A R - so why do so many public officials & supposedly learned people say it the wrong way? I'm talking several Presidents (present & past) college educated people, newscasters, etc. Do they not realize how ignorant they sound because the can not pronounce the word correctly?? It's nu-CLE-ar - that is the only way is should be pronounced!!!!!

Does the frequency of a pure tone being played through a stereo have any effect on the lifetime of the stereos battery?

ie would a tone of frequency ~ 50 Hz use less power/energy from the stereos battery therefore play longer than a frequency of ~10000Hz?

I spent 21 years in the Navy. Always putting the job first. I did not go to the hospital unless I had to. Work always came first.

Now on a new job. I need to go my boss seemed ok with it. since I am in the office most of the time, I need one of the mechanics to cover. I asked if he had anything going on the next few weeks in the early am. His response was of course not I put the job first!!

I know the reason he said that is cuz we have another employee who has a hard problem getting to work on time (ever day he is late)

Now I feel bad. I know i should put myself first and get my tennis elbow looked at.
