Well, I think i might get shot for asking this, but I think it is quite true. They refuse to speak English to foreigners , laugh at others who attempt to speak French, and their cities are just so not tourist friendly.

What do you expect? Not everyone can speak French, u know. But at least they like your country enough to visit. So for the very least, be nice to them ok....

i mean i was a bit pissed off at first.but after a day or so i realized.who cares what the pope says.its not like he's a leader of a country or something.i think muslims need to stop burning down chruches because it isn't going to change anything.all it does is make muslims look bad.and what ever the pope says about us let allah(god) deal with it.

ok.. the guy i liked last year turned out to like another girl(not the one i expected). this is this year. i don't think i have any feelings for him but..i still like him? and want him to like me?? well, one time, in one of our classes he asked his friend who was seating beside me to switch seats with him. so i take that as a positive sign.but then neither of us are speaking to each other. well, hardly any guys speak to me coz they think i'm a snob and most girls think that he's a snob also. do u think he likes me?any advice?

Why is it that in places with water shortages, people are told not to take baths and to take showers instead, to try not flushing the toilet when it's not necessary, etc.

When you take a bath or flush the toilet the water is drained away to the sewer where is goes to a sewage plant and the water is cleaned and put back into the water system. So if no water leaves the system, why do we need to take less baths? Surely there is no water being used up except for a tiny amount that evaporates from your bath.
